Leave a Gift in Your Will
A gift in your will is a meaningful way to support future generations of Special Olympics Manitoba athletes. Planned gifts help ensure athletes continue to have access to inclusive sport, leadership opportunities, and a community where they can grow, thrive, and belong.
There are several ways to leave a future gift, including a specific amount, a percentage of your estate, or a gift through life insurance. We recommend speaking with your legal or financial advisor, and our team would be pleased to provide the information you need.
Donate Securities
Donating publicly traded securities, such as stocks or mutual funds, can be a tax-effective way to support Special Olympics Manitoba.
Our team can walk you and your advisor through the process and provide the details needed to complete your gift. You may also receive a charitable tax receipt for the value of the donation, based on the date of transfer. Direct gifts of publicly traded securities may also offer capital gains tax benefits.
Face to Face Fundraising
Special Olympics Canada has been conducting door-to-door fundraising campaigns nationwide since 2018. They have partnered with Globalfaces Direct to run these campaigns.
Face-to-face canvassing is a cost-effective way for Special Olympics Canada to reach a demographic we have not reached through other campaigns.
