2018 Team Manitoba Announced!
Special Olympics Manitoba is proud to announce its 2018 National Bowling Championships and 2018 Special Olympics Canada Summer Games Provincial Teams!
The National Bowling Championships are scheduled to take place in Prince Edward Island in May 2018 with 5-Pin competing in Charlottetown and 10-Pin events taking place in Summerside. In August 2018 Antigonish, Nova Scotia will be the proud host of the 2018 Special Olympics Canada Summer Games with athletes competing in the following events: Athletics, Basketball, Bocce, Golf, Powerlifting, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Soccer, Softball and Swimming.
The Head Coaches and Mission Staff gathered this past weekend to begin planning and preparations for their respective teams. They are looking forward to the upcoming months of training that will take place to ensure Team Toba athletes have a premier experience at both national events.
