DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Intro to Athlete Leadership Course on October 25 from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Sport Manitoba (for Winnipeg and surrounding athletes) and January 31 from 9:00am – 2:00pm on Zoom (for all other regions)!  \nIn this session\, athletes will learn about:  \n\nGovernance and decision-making \n\n\nUsing social media responsibly \n\n\nHealthy lifestyle habits \n\n\nSpeech writing and public speaking \n\nThis course is a great opportunity to build confidence\, develop leadership skills\, and learn how to share your Special Olympics story with potential athletes\, volunteers\, and donors.  \nAdditional training is required following this session.  \nIf you have any questions\, please contact Emma at ewedlake@specialolympics.mb.ca.
